Product news / eMTB: With the Centurion No Pogo SL, the Swabians present their first light eMTB. Equipped with a Bosch SX motor and a 2,5 kg frame, it weighs less than 19 kg and, with 150 mm of suspension travel and modern geometry, is a real all-mountain for sporty e-mountain bikers.
Light, quiet and sporty – these are the characteristics that characterize the brand new Centurion No Pogo SL. The Light eMTB brings proven detailed solutions from the Swabians from Centurion and packs them with the Bosch SX motor in a particularly light overall package. Weighing under 19 kg (frame weight painted/assembled 2.500 g), it is one of the lightest eMTBs with Bosch's new drive that have been introduced to date.
Mullet wheels and modern geometry
The completely newly developed carbon frame impresses with its modern design language and elegant integration of the comparatively large Bosch Performance SX motor with 55 Nm torque. The powerful yet lightweight drive setup with a 400 Wh battery is aimed at sporty all-mountain riders. With 150 mm of travel at the front and 145 mm at the rear as well as a mullet setup (29″/27.5″), the new Centurion No Pogo SL is quite modern and should strike a good balance between uphill and downhill and between comfort and sportiness .
Range extender and bottle possible at the same time
For extended days in the saddle, the bike offers space for a bottle holder and the optional Bosch Power More 250 range extender, which can be attached one behind the other in the frame triangle. This gives you a total battery capacity of 650 Wh and should be well prepared for a whole day in the saddle.
The visually successful frame comes with a 4-link rear triangle with an anti-rise value of over 100%, regardless of gear. A short rear triangle and the 27.5″ rear wheel ensure more agility and an improved wheel elevation curve.
Minimalist look and beautiful details
The direct internal cable routing through the head tube and an integrated cover for the headset are visually impressive. Frequent screwdrivers may frown at this, but at least the stem can be replaced without opening the lines. To avoid rattling on rough terrain, all cables have their own channel inside the down tube.
Thanks to the short seat tube, the No Pogo SL offers a first-class insertion depth for Vario seat posts. With maximum retractability, long travel seat posts can be used to ensure optimal maneuverability on technical and blocked trails. The SAG indicator between the seatstay and rocker makes optimal tuning easy and efficient. Using the markings, the SAG value can be determined comfortably while sitting and an individual setup can be carried out in order to achieve an optimal balance between sensitivity and support.
Sporty geometry
The dimensions of the new Centurion Light eMTB read modern and sporty. Given its all-mountain orientation, the steering angle is slightly steeper than today's standards, nor is the main frame, which isn't too long. The short seat tube and the steep seat angle are nice, which should ensure a central and well-balanced seating position.

Equipment variants, weight and price
At launch, the Centurion No Pogo SL will be available in two equipment variants starting at 7.999 euros. Both share the drive system and the light carbon frame, there are only differences in the components installed. While the top model R8000 comes with Fox Factory suspension and a wireless Sram AXS transmission group, the R6000 has a Select+ suspension from RockShox and a mechanical Shimano XT shifting group. In terms of weight, there is only 200 g between the two variants (18,5 vs. 18,7 kg). Exciting: Centurion delivers the No Pogo SL with lightweight Schwalbe Aerothan tubes as standard.
