Raffle: Win a tex–lock eyelet bicycle lock

22 November 2023 by Caspar Gebel

Texlock Raffle: Velomotion is giving away seven practical tex–lock eyelet locks “Made in Germany” made of flexible material with a paint-protecting fabric cover with a total value of almost 1.000 Euro. Join in and secure a versatile, high-quality bike lock!

There is no need to explain how important a solid bicycle lock is. And it is just as clear that it is important to put the bike on and not just lock it and to secure as much of the bike as possible - the front wheel, for example. With conventional locks this can be difficult; others may be large enough, but are often heavy and unwieldy. The tex–lock eyelet is an interesting alternative: It consists of a strong, flexible rope with a steel core and plastic cover and is equipped with two different sized eyelets at the ends. The small eyelet fits through the large one and is then secured with the enclosed U-lock.

This means that the tex–lock eyelet can be guided flexibly through frames and components, and of course around the famous “solid object”. Available in three different lengths – 80, 120 and 160 cm – the lock can be adapted to individual needs; small (U-Lock, 6 cm) and large U-lock (X-Lock, 14 cm) are also available. And finally there is the tex–lock eyelet with six different colored or patterned textile covers.

Last but not least, the Leipzig manufacturer, which produces the unusual locks on site in a former piano factory, points out the high (and certified) security of its products. It's no coincidence that you're seeing the Texlock more and more often - besides, it's pretty eye-catching.

You can now easily try out how to “handle” it: Velomotion is giving away seven copies of the tex-lock eyelet in size L, five with a compact X-Lock and two with a U-Lock, each worth 139 and 149 euros. If you want to win one of these, all you have to do is answer the prize question below correctly - we keep our fingers crossed and wish you a safe journey at all times!
