Test / E-MTB: If you are looking for the highest quality equipment possible at a comparatively low price, you can hardly avoid direct mail order Radon. However, reducing the Bonn manufacturer's bikes solely to their good price/performance ratio would not do them justice - this is also shown by the Render 10.0 HD 750.
With its 160 or 140 mm travel, carbon main frame and Bosch Smart System including CX motor and 750 Wh battery, the E-MTB offers a strong overall package. Even though the frame has been on the market for several years, it doesn't have to hide from younger competitors. Its geometry is somewhat conservative, but this should make for quite intuitive handling.

Premium equipment for Mid-range price
The Render 10.0 HD definitely scores points when it comes to features. A component package is put together here for around 7.500 euros, for which five-figure prices are often quoted elsewhere. No matter whether Fox Factory chassis with Grip2 damping in the fork, electronic Sram X01 AXS groupset, Magura MT7 brakes or Newmen wheels: the product management has almost always reached for the highest shelf here. Cheers!

Radon Render 10.0: Surprisingly strong trail performance

Despite its rather tame geometry, the powerful Radon turns out to be a real all-rounder on the trail. Even on demanding terrain, it offers intuitive handling and conveys a lot of security. If you pick up the pace, the rear triangle with its 140 mm is most likely to reach its limits, which should also offer more feedback. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised by the strong trail performance of the bike, which weighs around 25 kg.
The render performs no less convincingly when its tires roll on firm ground: comfort is high and the seating position is generally successful. Only on steep uphills do you sit a little too rear-heavy and have to actively bring your weight towards the front in order to keep the front wheel under control.
What was noticeable was the high volume of the Bosch CX in our test bike. The large-volume frame may serve as a resonance box and amplify the already significant supporting noise of the otherwise convincing engine.
