Busch and Müller raffle: Velomotion + Busch and Müller are giving away three high-quality light sets made from IXON Rock and BRIXXI. Extremely bright at the front, practical and particularly safe at the back – there is hardly anything better for sporty cycling at dusk and in the dark. Especially if it has to be legal.
At Busch and Müller in Meinerzhagen, everything has revolved around the further development of bicycle lighting for decades - and the production of headlights, taillights and accessories. The products “Made in Germany” are legendarily innovative and are always firmly based on the law; All products are StVZO compliant with their K number and wavy line and can be legally screwed onto the bike. Busch and Müller do not offer any blinders that are declared as tent lighting.
Innovative with IQ & Co.
Various innovations from B&M have become established throughout the industry - such as this IQ technology, in which the light-emitting diodes shine into the reflector instead of out of it, which increases the light output (IQ = indirect source). The specification of the Illuminance of each spotlight in lux makes it easier to choose a suitable product, especially since the manufacturer's homepage provides a clear “headlight range comparison”. This shows, among other things, that 100 lux is pretty much the optimum in terms of illumination and vision - and that's how bright the Busch and Müller is IXON skirt (99,90 euros), the Velomotion together with the sensor taillight BRIXXI (49,90 euros) raffled off.
The spotlight has a well-known design and offers three lighting modes (100, 50 and 15 lux) with a lighting duration of 2,5 to 25 hours. The blue LEDs on both sides show the battery level; the battery can be used to charge mobile devices via USB. A cover at the top of the reflector ensures that you are not disturbed by stray light while driving. The mounting options for the approximately 12 cm long, 160 gram light are interesting: it can also be attached hanging, for example under a computer holder. This is ideal when used on a racing bike or gravel bike.
Now new: hanging attachment
Busch and Müller has a rear light that matches the IXON Rock with the BRIXXI. As a further development of the proven IXXI, it is equipped with an automatic switch-on via sensor, and it also has a brake light and an emergency brake light, both activated by an acceleration sensor. Of course, as a rear light it only has one lighting mode; The battery lasts up to 24 hours for this. The BRIXXI holder is attached to the seat post using a tension strap, and the light itself can be removed simply by turning it.
