Sören Waerenskjold takes the lead

On the second day of the AlUla Tour there should be a change at the top of the overall ranking. Soren Waerenskjold (Uno-X Mobility) won the 199,1 kilometer section from AlUla Winter Park to Sharaan Nature Reserve. In the sprint for the day's victory, the Norwegian left the Eritrean Henok Mulubrhan (Astana) behind them, which almost pulled off a huge surprise. The Dutchman completes the podium Nils Eekhoff (dsm-unternehmenich PostNL). The new overall leader is today's winner, who, thanks to the time bonus, is now at the same time as yesterday Casper van Uden (dsm-unternehmenich PostNL) is in first place. The mass sprint almost didn't happen today. After a late attack Pierre Latour (TotalEnergies) only be placed again a few meters before the finish line. There was then a two-second gap between seventh and eighth place.
