European Track Cycling Championships in Apeldoorn: Hat trick in the team sprint for Friedrich, Hinze & Grabosch

11 January 2024 by Michael Behringer

Track-Em team sprint

Cycling: The German women simply cannot be beaten in team sprints. Lea-Sophie Friedrich, Emma Hinze and Pauline Grabosch won the European team sprint title for the third time in a row.

Hat trick for the German team sprint

Gold again for Germany. Even at the European Track Cycling Championships in Apeldoorn, the German trio gave the competition no chance in the team sprint. Lea-Sophie Friedrich, Emma Hinze and Pauline Grabosch won the new edition of the World Cup final from last year. In the final they easily beat the team from Great Britain. After winning the title in Munich and Grenchen, that means: hat trick!
