Product news: Equipped with clever adjustment options, the new Elite bottle cages Struka and Ambo are intended to ensure optimal access to the drinking bottle while riding. An important factor in the development of the drinking bottles was the feedback from the professional road bike and mountain bike teams supported by the Italian company. The two holders are fundamentally different and therefore appeal to different personal preferences.
Elite Struka: Screw cap allows adjustment to different drinking bottle sizes
The heart of the new Elite Struka drinking bottle cage is the Fitgo mechanism, which is based on a wheel on the front and a steel cable. The finely adjustable screw cap allows the holder to be adapted to drinking bottles with a diameter of 65 to 80 millimeters. When you turn the lock clockwise, the steel cable is pulled in and the opening is narrowed. A simple counterclockwise turn activates the opening mechanism. The frame is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide and is designed to withstand high loads and impacts even under extreme conditions. The bottle holder, which weighs only 34 grams, is offered at a price of 23,00 euros.
Elite Ambo: Highly adjustable side opening bottle cage
The Elite Ambo is an extremely adaptable water bottle cage with side opening. Adaptable because the cage can be rotated through 180° and the four recesses on the back allow you to choose which side and at which angle the drinking bottle can be inserted or removed. The upwardly adjustable rear section is intended to ensure a secure hold of the bottle and also offers the option of individually designing the insertion angle of the drinking bottle. This makes the holder made of fiber-reinforced material a very interesting alternative for mountain and gravel bikes with little space in the center triangle. The price of the holder, which weighs 53 grams, is 17,60 euros.
