Cycling: Jasper Philipsen has won the 13th stage of the Tour de France. Contrary to expectations, today's race was a real affair with numerous attacks thanks to strong winds.
Philipsen wins ahead of Van Aert and Ackermann
Second stage win for Jasper Phillipsen (Alpecin . Deceuninck). The Belgian won the 165,3-kilometer stage from Agen to Pau, which was characterized by wind edges. In the sprint of a heavily decimated main field, he relegated wout van aert (Visma – Lease a Bike) and Pascal Ackermann (Israel – Premier-Tech) took second and third place. Roglic, Ayuso & Herrada leave the Tour de France

Numerous attacks are neutralized
However, the trio was not given a big lead. Visma – Lease a Bike wanted to keep the group together in order to finally wout van aert (Visma – Lease a Bike) to win the stage.
