“One Bike to Rule All Trails”: Specialized Stumpjumper 15 EVO

June 18, 2025 by Andrew Waldera

Specialized Stumpjumper 15 EVO

Product news: Effective June 18, 2025, all 15 Stumpjumper 2026 models will officially be renamed Stumpjumper 15 EVO. Developed based on feedback from riders and dealers and further developed through meaningful, performance-oriented equipment updates, this isn't just a name change—it's a performance upgrade.

More travel, more control, and no fear of climbs, descents, or curves: According to Specialized, the 15 Stumpjumper 2026 EVO is significantly more powerful than its weight, and now bears a fitting name. The renaming makes perfect sense considering the updates. Equipped with 160 mm of travel (previously 150 mm), a Fox Float X GENIE shock with piggyback (replacing the standard Float with GENIE), and a 0,5° slacker head angle (due to a longer fork), the bike promises plenty of smoothness and reserves. The higher handlebar, in turn, is designed to provide more control, comfort, and trail feel.

The tires have also been updated. For more grip and riding safety, the Specialized Stumpjumper 15 EVO comes with an updated Butcher and Eliminator combination. The spec hasn't just been gradually improved, but is a full step toward the EVO. According to the manufacturer, the bike combines trail agility with all-mountain ramp feel. It's supposed to be THE "One Bike to Rule All Trails" bike—and now with even more bite. The first model of the new generation, the Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 15 EVO XTR Di2, will be available for €12.499,00.
