Shred in style like the downhill queen: Vali Höll Edition by Ergon

June 5, 2025 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: With her unmistakable style, Vali Höll has been shaping not only the downhill scene for years, but also her bike setup – and now more than ever. The SM Downhill Comp saddle and GDH Team grips from Ergon are now available in a special edition with a design co-created by the three-time world champion.

Together with Ergon, the German-Austrian, who competes for Austria in the World Cup, has not only continuously refined the ergonomics specialist's proven downhill parts, but has now also given them her own personal design. The result is signature editions of the World Cup-proven GDH Team grips and the SM Downhill Comp saddle. With this new Vali Höll grip and saddle edition, all riders can now shred the tracks as stylishly as the 23-year-old serial world champion.

The signature parts will be launched in time for Vali's home World Cup in Saalfelden Leogang from June 5-8, 2025. Technically and functionally, nothing has changed in the products, but the design is one hundred percent Vali. "It's really cool to work with a partner like Ergon for so long and to get things off the ground together. I was able to have a say in the product development from the very beginning – and now I can also design my own special edition," says the Saalbach native happily. "Seeing my own design in action on the SM Downhill saddle and the GDH Team grips makes me a little proud."

The Ergon GDH Team grip was specifically engineered for the extreme demands of downhill riding: its ergonomic shape, sophisticated texture, and extra-soft GravityControl Rubber compound ensure ultimate control, precision, and comfort. All functional zones are designed for maximum grip and minimal fatigue. Ergon's SM Downhill saddle, on which Vali has been regularly winning titles for some time, also shares World Cup DNA. Ultra-compact, with optimal tire clearance, glide zones, and anti-slip elements, it offers everything modern speed junkies need—plus 360-degree padding for optimal protection and optimal leg guidance.
