The new Crankbrothers Stamp 0: Flat pedals for fun and everyday use

July 17, 2025 by Florian Nowak

Product news: With the new Crankbrothers Stamp 0, the manufacturer is launching a new platform pedal specifically designed for beginners in mountain biking and gravel riding. However, commuters and young trail enthusiasts might also enjoy this versatile pedal.

The Crankbrothers Stamp 0 pedal features a reinforced composite body that's both lightweight and durable. The concave platform provides a secure footing, while molded plastic pins (instead of metal ones) provide good grip without the risk of painful shin splints. This makes the pedal particularly suitable for novice riders gaining their first experience on trails or gravel.

Two sizes for optimal fit

A highlight of the Stamp 0 is its size-specific design: Available in small and large, it offers an optimal interface between shoe and pedal for different shoe sizes. This benefits not only comfort but also control.

Versatile area of application

In addition to trail use, the Stamp 0 is also suitable for commuters who ride to work during the week and off-road on the weekends. The pedal also demonstrates its strengths in dirt jump or pump track use: At 305 g (small) and 331 g (large), it's light enough for quick changes of direction, yet robust enough for jumps and hard landings.

Crankbrothers Stamp 0 – Technical Highlights

The Crankbrothers Stamp 0 offers a variety of features that are impressive in this price range:

  • Reinforced composite body
  • 12 molded traction pins per side
  • Concave platform (only 13,5 to 15,5 mm thick)
  • Slim profile to protect against rock contact
  • Premium inner and outer bearings with igus® plain bearings
  • Forged chromoly steel axle
  • Sealing system to protect against dirt and water
  • Maintainable for a long service life
  • 5 years warranty

The Stamp 0 is now available in several colors and sizes small and large. The RRP is €44,99.
