New electric SUV from Cologne: Bulls Iconic EVO 1

16 November 2025 by Caspar Gebel

Bulls Iconic EVO 1: The new e-SUV bike combines MTB technology with trekking bike comfort, thus offering versatile riding fun.

The new e-SUV, with which Bulls enters the 2026 model year, combines powerful motorization with generous suspension travel, blurring the lines between trekking bike and mountain bike. The 120 mm air suspension fork provides comfortable front-end lift and allows for a slack head angle, resulting in pleasant and stable handling. With tires nearly 60 mm wide and featuring a grippy tread, the Bulls Iconic EVO 1 offers secure traction and effective vibration damping on rough terrain. This expands the bike's range of uses far beyond that of a classic e-trekking bike.

The Bosch CX motor gives the e-SUV a strong boost.
The bright Twinlights are typical of Bulls products.

Performance upgrade to triple-digit torque

The Bosch CX motor with up to 100 Nm of torque (thanks to a performance upgrade) ensures that the Bulls glides effortlessly across virtually any terrain – from soft ground to steep climbs. The ten-speed drivetrain offers a wide gear range of over 430%; finer increments – meaning one or two additional intermediate gears – are unnecessary on an e-bike. The new Shimano Cues shifting system is intuitive to use, and the hydraulic disc brakes deliver outstanding performance. Bulls also incorporates interesting in-house details, such as the integrated "Twinlight" taillights positioned above the rear wheel mounts.

… the mounting of the smartphone on the stem.

Practical features and versatile equipment

The sporty "Purion 200" display is located on the handlebars, along with a MonkeyLink interface with power supply, to which a smartphone can be connected via an adapter. Alternatively, a second front light can be mounted – however, the Bulls' 70-lux front light is already bright enough to remain clearly visible even in dark environments.

The front light shines with a bright 70 lux.
A 120mm air fork is typical for SUV bikes.
Sport mudguard, carrier and knobby tires characterize the rear.

Typical of BULLS is the wide range of models, encompassing three different frame sizes and styles. Customers can choose from two attractive colors (Pebble Grey and Dark Chrome Silver) and two battery options: 600 or 800 watt-hours. The bike also comes fully equipped with sporty, short mudguards and a sturdy rear rack. The BULLS Iconic EVO 1 is available now from ZEG retailers and starts at €3.599 (RRP, 600 Wh battery).
