Compact battery-powered compressor pump in testing: Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator

15 December 2025 by Andrew Waldera

Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator

Compressor pump review: Equipped with a sleek aluminum housing, USB-C charging port, and brushless motor, the Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator compressor pump combines high aesthetic appeal with state-of-the-art technology. The anodized pump head, compatible with all common bicycle valves, ensures universal use. Our test reveals how the product performs in practical use.

The silicone protective case ensures a high grip and protection from heat.

Thanks to its very compact dimensions and weight of only 114 grams, the Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator compressor pump is ideal for mobile use. The integrated on/off switch with battery indicator light on the side ensures easy handling and control of the pump. A silicone protective sleeve provides a secure grip on the small aluminum housing, which measures only about 64 x 56 x 28 mm. As with most compact battery-powered compressor pumps, heat generation is a significant factor during operation. We would definitely endorse the manufacturer's recommendation to use an adapter with TPU or plastic valves. Unfortunately, the proprietary AirHose Extension is not included and must be purchased separately.

Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator

Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator: solid construction, but only a maximum air pressure of 6,9 bar.

Although manufacturer Muc-Off markets the pump as a powerful titanium pump in a mini format, the maximum specified air pressure of 100 PSI – or 6,9 bar – is only average. Its range of applications is therefore somewhat limited, but more than sufficient for touring, trekking, and gravel riding. The integrated USB-C port on the side, which also serves as the air inlet, allows for very quick and easy charging. Its position is somewhat inconvenient, as it must not be covered during operation, which can easily happen in the heat of the moment. Unlike the Pro version from the same manufacturer, the Airmach Electric Mini Inflator pump lacks a pressure gauge, meaning there's no auto-stop function or pressure preset. Inflation is therefore only possible by feel.

Measured values: Duration of inflating a 700x23C tire

  • 4 bar: 42 seconds
  • 70 seconds: 5,3 bar
  • 90 seconds: 5,8 bar

A small and compact pump with a solid build. The feel and workmanship are good, but it lacks a bit of pumping power, which limits its range of use. Without a display, inflation is only possible by feel. Anyone wanting to avoid these drawbacks should opt for the Muc-Off Airmach Electric Mini Inflator Pro. Aside from the aforementioned issues, it's a reliable companion for on-the-go use that even fits easily into a jersey pocket.
