Adidas Kentro: Versatile sports glasses for biking, running and outdoor activities

July 27, 2026 by Florian Nowak

Product news: With the Adidas Kentro SP0123, adidas Sport Eyewear presents a multisport sunglasses for cycling, running, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Key features include a wide field of vision, an adjustable fit, and six different POWERVIZN lens options for varying light and terrain conditions.

Full-rim frame with adjustable fit

The Adidas Kentro features a lightweight full-rim design with a large lens. The frame is made of flexible TR90 material, which is intended to combine robustness and low weight. The manufacturer does not provide specific information on the overall weight.

Individually adjustable nose pads, rubberized temple tips and contact points ensure a secure fit even during intense workouts. Ventilation openings on the upper frame and temples promote airflow and prevent the lenses from fogging up.

POWERVIZN lenses for different conditions

The POWERVIZN Lens System combines special base tints based on high-contrast technology with precisely matched mirror coatings. Depending on the variant, the lenses are designed to enhance contrast and detail, support depth perception, and reduce distracting reflections.

Water-, sweat- and dirt-repellent coatings should also allow for clear visibility in rain, heat and intense stress.

Kentro SP0123 02Z: Photochromic lenses that adapt to changing light conditions. A violet contrast base is designed to improve vision on green and brown backgrounds. The silver mirror reduces glare in bright light. VLT: 50 to 10 percent.

Versatile multi-sport approach

The Kentro SP0123 is not exclusively designed for cycling. Its combination of a wide field of vision, adjustable fit, and various lens options also makes it suitable for runners, hikers, and winter sports enthusiasts.

For road cyclists, the neutral-tinted smoke lenses are particularly suitable. The contrast-enhancing versions are designed for better recognition of contours and terrain details and should therefore be especially interesting for gravel and mountain biking. The photochromic version offers the widest range of use in changing light conditions.
