Product news: FOX is expanding its portfolio of electronic dropper posts and introducing the Transfer Neo E-Optimized, a version that connects directly to the e-bike's power supply. This eliminates the hassle of charging separate batteries and worries about remaining battery capacity.
The new Transfer Neo E-Optimized was developed by FOX specifically for demanding e-MTB use. Thanks to its direct connection to the e-bike's drive system, the dropper post is always ready for use. It offers up to 240 millimeters of travel, a particularly low profile, and, similar to the mechanical MY26 series, can be flexibly adjusted: the travel can be reduced in 5-millimeter increments by up to 25 millimeters. The post is controlled via the familiar Transfer Neo lever. Individual settings can also be configured using the FOX Bike App.
FOX Transfer Neo E-Optimized: Exclusive launch for Specialized
At launch, the FOX Transfer Neo E-Optimized is available exclusively for the Specialized Levo 4, Levo R, and Levo Evo models. Specialized dealers will handle the complete installation and system integration. According to FOX, versions for other popular e-bike drive systems are already under development and are expected to follow in 2027. The seatpost is priced at $589 (Performance Series Elite) or $659 (Factory Series), depending on the model, while the matching lever costs $219.
