After a 7-year hiatus, Canyon celebrates the comeback of the Pure Cycling Festival in Koblenz

Spectrum: On the last weekend of August, the Canyon Campus in Koblenz will once again become the hotspot for the bike scene. The Pure Cycling Festival celebrates its grand comeback on August 29th and 30th, 2026, after a seven-year hiatus. In addition to behind-the-scenes glimpses into high-tech manufacturing, visitors can look forward to ride-outs with stars like Fabio Wibmer and Jan Frodeno, as well as exclusive test deals.

After a seven-year wait, Canyon is bringing its legendary in-house festival back to its headquarters in Koblenz. On August 29th and 30th, the Koblenz-based bike manufacturer will open the doors of its campus to visitors, tech enthusiasts, and cycling fans. A key highlight of the weekend will be the exclusive tours through the heart of Canyon. Visitors will gain rare insights into the factory and the test lab, where frames and components undergo extreme stress tests. The entire current Canyon model range will also be available for extensive test rides on campus. Those who find their dream bike can purchase many models on-site and take them home immediately through the "Bike2Go" promotion. Exclusive festival deals will round out the offerings.

A street sprint race is a must at the Pure Cycling Festival in Koblenz. In cooperation with Rad Race, riders will go head-to-head on short, spectacular courses. The MTB World Championship live-watch party will provide a racing atmosphere with live coverage of the Mountain Bike World Championships. Another highlight in Koblenz will be the presence of cycling celebrities. Fans can experience Fabio Wibmer, Jan Frodeno, Sam Pilgrim, Marei Moldenhauer, and former pro Rick Zabel up close during group rides and meet-ups.
