Continental Grand Prix: With a new tire width of 32 millimeters, Continental responds to the demand for wider all-round tires and consistently expands its road tire range.
The trend in road cycling has been towards wider tires for some time now. To offer the perfect model for every riding style, the long-established German brand Continental is now taking the next step: The popular all-round tire Grand Prix is now also available in a contemporary width of 32 millimeters.
Proven technology for all tasks
The Grand Prix is designed as a tire for all the challenges that come with road cycling. Continental doesn't need to reinvent the wheel, but instead draws on the proven technology of the iconic Grand Prix 5000 series. The goal is to deliver the best of both worlds: pure performance on the one hand and high durability on the other.
This is made possible by a robust, 3-layer casing that works in conjunction with Continental's renowned BlackChili compound. This combination ensures an optimally balanced ratio of reliable puncture protection, outstanding grip, and low rolling resistance. Previously, the Grand Prix was only available in 28 mm and 30 mm widths. With the new 32 mm version, Continental is now filling a gap for those seeking more volume and comfort.
