Product news: German carbon specialist Lilienthal.bike expands its gravel bike range with the Lilienthal GX L3K. The new 28-inch carbon wheelset features a combination of woven-look finish, carbon spokes, and lightweight hubs. Weighing in at approximately 1.003 grams, it is the lightest model in the manufacturer's gravel portfolio to date.
In developing the GX L3K, Lilienthal consciously emphasized the visibility of the materials used. The designation "L3K" refers to a plain-weave carbon fiber fabric in which each fiber bundle consists of 3.000 individual carbon filaments. This multidirectional fiber structure defines the surface of the wheelset and is complemented by minimalist decals. A reduced logo in Pearl and the characteristic fleur-de-lis at the valve hole complete the overall visual concept. The wheelset is based on the company's own 28-inch GX Gravel Hook carbon rim. Each wheel is built with 20 Alpina Carbolite carbon spokes and an OGS Ultra Light Road hubset. According to the manufacturer, the front and rear hub set weighs 229 grams and is equipped with TPI bearings.

Before its official launch, the GX L3K wheelset was tested under competitive conditions. Among others, Philipp Bachl, Cape Epic winner and Austrian national coach, used the wheelset at the UEC Gravel Championships and at "The River" race in the Gravel Earth Series. The Lilienthal GX L3K is now available as a complete set in the manufacturer's online shop. The retail price is €2.899, and Lilienthal.bike states a delivery time of two to three business days.
