Completely new development for the 2027 model year: RED DEER R.XX

September 25, 2026 by Andreas Waldera

ROTWILD, the e-bike specialists from Dieburg, present the R.XX, a completely new development for the 2027 model year. This agile e-MTB is aimed at riders seeking nimble handling on technical trails. In addition to the previously available models, ROTWILD introduces the ULTIMATE version, the new, uncompromising flagship of the model range.

Product news: The heart of the newly designed ROTWILD R.XX is a handcrafted carbon frame with an integrated 700 Wh battery. This powers the compact Avinox M2.S motor and provides the necessary range for long trail rides. For the suspension kinematics, ROTWILD uses its so-called Elevated Box Design , which, combined with a low overall weight, is intended to ensure particularly agile and direct handling. To guarantee identical handling across all five frame sizes, the chainstay length increases with each size.

The fourth equipment variant relies on high-end components.

Until now, the R.XX series comprised the three equipment lines CORE, PRO, and ULTRA. With the ULTIMATE version , ROTWILD is now introducing a new top model that stands out not only technically, but also visually with its striking Lava Orange color.

When it comes to add-on parts, ROTWILD uses top-of-the-line components:

  • Drive: SRAM XX Eagle Transmission (electronic)
  • brakes: SRAM Motive Ultimate Carbon
  • Landing gear: FOX 36 Float Factory Kashima fork & FOX Float X Factory Kashima shock
  • impellers: NEWMEN Phase Carbon
  • Motor & battery: Avinox M2.S with integrated 700 Wh battery
