Product news: Just in time for the start of the darker months, electronics and lighting specialist SIGMA is expanding its lighting portfolio. With the introduction of three new front lights from the Buster series and three new Nyte rear lights, the Neustadt-based company is further developing its Smart Light Series, which was launched earlier this year. In addition to individual components, the manufacturer is also introducing coordinated lighting sets.
Three new Buster front lights ranging from 160 to 1.700 lumens
The Buster family is expanding with three new models, primarily positioned as helmet lights in the German market. The new top-of-the-line Buster 1700 Link delivers a light output of up to 1.700 lumens and, according to Sigma, offers a beam distance of up to 210 meters. The light features smart functions via the Sigma Ride App and can be networked. A handlebar remote control is included, allowing users to select modes and trigger an audible signal on the light.

The Buster 900 Link is designed for trails and dark paths, providing up to 900 lumens and a beam distance of 180 meters. The light can be paired with compatible Link taillights and managed via an app. Remote control on the handlebars is available as an option. The Buster 160 is a compact entry-level model with up to 160 lumens (80 m beam distance), five light mode profiles with mode memory, and side visibility (Light Guide). The battery life is stated to be up to 24 hours.
Nyte rear lights with brake light function (International)
At the rear, SIGMA expands its portfolio with the Nyte 30, Nyte 50, and Nyte 50 Link models. The Nyte series combines compact designs with various continuous and flashing modes, as well as battery life of up to 28 hours (Nyte 30). The Nyte 50 and Nyte 50 Link models also include an integrated brake and emergency brake light function. However, the Nyte taillights are designed exclusively for the international market and are therefore not available in Germany.
