Best list of smartphone holders

In principle, attaching your smartphone to your bike is a simple matter. The requirements can also basically be reduced to a few essentials. Nevertheless, the market is flooded with countless variants. We have tested some of them and show you their advantages and disadvantages.

No matter what purpose we want to attach the smartphone to the bike. First and foremost, we expect the mount to hold our device securely and firmly in place. If you save money in the wrong place, you'll end up with a nasty surprise if, for example, you find yourself standing in the middle of the forest with a broken smartphone and can't find your way back without navigation.

But does it always have to be the high-end solution? Are cheap solutions unsafe? And what about assembly and disassembly? Not everyone wants to have a mount permanently mounted on their bike. You should also think about the different mounting position options in advance. If your budget allows it, holders with pockets and an integrated power bank can also be a sensible investment. Or maybe you would prefer a discreet, tailor-made solution in the form of smartphone-specific cases?

In the end, it's not that easy to find your personal ideal solution in the jungle of different types of smartphone holders. We will help you and look at the individual functions, processing and handling in our tests. Of course, we also evaluate the stability and safety of the holder during our test drives.

We took a close look at 13 current smartphone holders and tested them in practice. Here you can find our best list of smartphone holders. Another model is added to the list every week.
