Cycling: After a 70-kilometer breakaway, Olympic champion Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) prevailed at the E3 Prijs Harelbeke. In the sprint, he beat Philippe Gilbert (Quickstep Floors) and Oliver Naesen (AG2R). The young Austrian Lukas Pöstlberger (Bora - Hansgrohe) finished a strong fifth.
