cycling: Road cycling: UCI reviews introduction of disc brakes
Cycling: In collaboration with the WFSGI (World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry), the UCI is currently reviewing the use of disc brakes in professional cycling. Tests are scheduled to begin this season. Professional teams will be given the opportunity to use disc brakes in two races of their choice in August and September. read more
